We have just enjoyed our first trip to Barcelona staying at this beautiful hotel for 3 nights over the Easter break.
Easy to find, we transferred from Barcelona airport on the Blue Aerobus to Plaza Catalunya from which the hotel is only a few minutes walk & is equally close to the metro station so is in a great central position.
Our room was just as we had seen on the website, always a relief ! It felt very luxurious and came complete with a 6 ft bed, beautiful crisp white linen, a gorgeous bathroom with a powerful shower and an ample supply of toiletries every day ! We appreciated the bedside control of all lighting within the room!
The glass lift makes an unusual feature & as we were on the 5th floor, gave us a lovely view of the bar area below. All the public areas are modern with very comfy white leather sofas & chairs. We enjoyed a relaxing pot of tea here after a busy day sightseeing !
Breakfast was buffet style with lovely fresh fruit, cooked breakfast and the usual cakes & pastries. More than enough to last until lunchtime!
Each & every one of the staff we came across were very helpful, professional & polite. Initially there was a slight confusion on the type of room we had booked so we were shown 2 different rooms for us to choose which one we preferred. You can't ask for more than that !
This is definately one of the best hotels we have stayed in & we wouldn't hesitate in recommending it to anyone.
As for eating out in Barcelona, if you love fish then head to Port Olimpic for a range of restaurants. We had a lovely meal at the El Cangrejo Loco overlooking the mediterranean, a vey romantic evening as the night fell.
Barcelona is a mix of old & new & as the beach is within an easy metro ride, it makes for an interesting & contrasting city break destination.

Stayed at Hotel Pulitzer for a weekend in March, and I can honestly say it was one of the best overall hotel experiances I have ever had.
The hotel itself and the rooms are beautifully designed, love the art deco! All staff were extremely helpful and knowledgable with tourist and restaurant information.
Location of the hotel is also spot on.
5 stars to the hotel and I would definitely recomend it to anyone travelling to Barcelona.

Stayed at the Pulitzer for 2 nights over the easter break and was extremely satisfied with my choice. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the interior of the hotel is aesthetically pleasing, clean and modern.

The double room was comfortable and more than satisfactory, and the location of the hotel was very convenient during our stay. There's a good selection for breakfast and the bar area on the ground floor is nice to relax in during the evenings. I'd really recommend this hotel for anyone coming to Barcelona, especially on a first visit, as you feel at home right away and the extra you might pay here compared to other hotels in the city is definitely worth it.
