We chose this hotel for location and price. After reading reviews we asked for a quiet room instead of the out facing rooms on the street. Instead what we got for 6 nights, was a room facing a wall on the 6th floor, room 631. Ok, small but clean, seemed quiet. Well around 11:00 till 4:00 am the roof next door opens up and is a disco club. At times I could smell cig smoke in my room from the club. You would think the hotel would know that!
On another note, check out the tapas at Taberna Txakolina, you won be dissapointed. You can walk around and pick out what you would like and very good waitresses that spoke english. The stuffed mushrooms on the weekend are so yummy! Rick Steves needs to review this place.Great for tourists that have trouble with spanish or prefer to see real, fresh food to make your selections. Also, Mirandas, or the sign outfront says Tapas and Cava, very good.
