This hostel is in a great location for exploring the city and is super close to "Sol" Metro stop (1 hour from airport, costing 4.50€ to take the Metro-take line 8 to 10 to 1 and exit at "Sol"), and close to bars, restaurants, and shopping. Be aware that many close mid-afternoon for siesta! The staff was helpful and speaks English. We reserved online and paid 14 euro/person for 4 bed dorm which was small but fine for sleeping and we had a private baño. Breakfast is included and was good (coffee, tea, juice, cereal, muffin, mini toast with jam, crackers, piece of fruit) and is served 8-10 am. They have a guest fridge but no kitchen, free wifi, no lockers in dorm (just small shelves with doors), very clean bathroom with small shelf for toiletries, comfy dorm beds with crisp, clean, new sheets, a small common area (has room for improvement) with a couple computers for you to use. It was very loud on the street til 4 am since they are located next to a busy restaurant; after all, this is Spain and they know how to eat dinner very late! Checkout is too early-10 am! Especially when it is hard to fall asleep before 4 if your room is near the street. They do have a luggage room for you to store your backpack.
Get a room away from the street if you want to sleep early, or bring earplugs and eye mask.
