After booking the hotel I read some of the reviews and was terrified that I might have booked the worst hotel on earth....however, luckily that was not the case. The hotel is nothing extraordinary but not bad...just average. The lobby is nice, and they have a bar. We chose not to book the breakfast (14-22 Euros/PP/Per Day) and opted to eat at places nearby. VIPS is a chain that servers good breakfast and my boyfriend and I both ate for 9 Euros Total. There are alot of restaurants and bars and shops nearby. The metro station is just 5 min walking and there is a bus right behind the hotel that will take you into the center and others that go around town. Also the hop-on-hop-off bus stops right behind the hotel as well. We bought the bus/metro/train card for 5 days for just 25 Euros/PP. Taxi's are also not that expensive.
The room was just average, a bit outdated. The wi-fi kept signing out once you put your phone down, but at least it was included in the price. The bed was comfortable enough to get a good nights sleep. The room and bathroom were also very clean. The phone line in the room was full of static but we didn't really use it except to call down to the lobby or order room service.
We recieved a 10 Euro credit/night which came in handy when ordering room service or drinks at the bar.
The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful, showing us nice restaurants and giving directions. They even stored our bags the last day while we went around town before catching a flight that evening.
Overall the stay was average. The price for 3 nights was just 190 Euros so I really couldn't ask for much more. There are other Melia properties near by that are more expensive, but we really didnt spend too much time in the room, just to sleep, as there is soooo much to do. Even in the 4 days we spent there we didnt see everything.
