PROS : The location is excellent in Grand Via only 100 meters from Santo Dominco Metro station. Gran via is full of shops and places to eat. The rooms are comfortable with nice lights, modern design but ask for a room with a big
window, because some rooms have the window up in the wall and you can see anything
The keeping of the luggage by the receptionists in the lobby is safe.
CONS : The breakfast is awful. Small variety, the same things everyday, all the food cut in so
small pieces that you couldn't catch it with your fork. In Spain, a country full of tomatoes they offered only one tomato that you should cut with a knife. No choices for children.
In Gran via you can have breakfast for 3 euros a person. (We suggest DUNKIN COFFEE with excellent food).
In the lobby there was not even a pc for us to check our e-mails. The price of the internet in the room was crazy (they charged only by day - 10 euros!!).
Everybody could enter, not even once the receptionists asked our name and room number when we entered at night.
The cleaning service was ok but superficial. The first day we had to clean the toilet from last visitors traces. And we didn't like the fact that the cleaning stuff changed the position of our things when they made the bath. also for a 4-star hotel they were very stingy with the shampoo and soap, so we bought our own.
So this is a 3star hotel and 100 euros a night we gave was too much.
If you can find a room in another hotel in Gran Via with a better price do it.
If not, stay in vincci but don't pay for breakfast.
Choose a room in the upper floors not overlooking Gran Via.

Regarding our internet service, we would like to mention that we have free Wifi connection available in common areas and also free cable connection in the rooms. To use this last service it is only necessary to request a cable at the reception.
