We were in this area a year ago visiting my partners daughter and saw this hotel during our travels. It looked impressive so we decided that when we returned, we would stay here.
We were not disappointed. The rooms, whilst fairly basic, come with plenty of wardrobe space, free safety deposit box, TV with English Channels including BBC, and spacious bathrooms. Upon arrival, I just chanced it and asked for pool view rooms (there were 4 of us travelling) and was immediately given them. This was probably due to the fact that the hotel was not very full during our stay. The only real downside is that the rooms allocated did not have much in the way of a balcony, but the view of the pool was wonderful.
The breakfast was very good, plenty of choice and comfortable seating. The times were also very agreeable, 8 am to 11 am, great if you are a late riser. Lunch was available in the Bar, and both food and drinks were very reasonably priced for a four star hotel. The hotel appears to be occupied by Brits either looking for property in the area, or by those visiting friends/relatives. We found the staff to be extremely helpful and very courteous, nothing was any trouble. Other plus points are free internet access and free parking in the Hotels own car park. The weather was rather good for the time of year, a little windy but definately sunbathing weather.
Out and about, we visited the old faithful El Muelle, in the Torrevieja town centre - always and excellent meal. The rest of the time we spent nearer the hotel. Stan and Ollie's, on the El Raso estate, was very pleasant. There is an Italian across the road from the Hotel which was not as good, and quite expensive. for what it was. Sunday Lunch at Casa Nicolas is always a pleasure, and excellent value - 3 courses for 13.25 Euro.
This must be one of the better hotels in the area and I would absolutely return to it.
