Booked this hotel through a flight and hotel package - good central location. We felt fortunate that we had a top floor room as the street outside was fairly noisy throughout the night. Food and room OK, but in our view not worthy of the 4 star rating (should be 3).
Very convenient for Levante Beach and Old Town.
Although we enjoyed our stay, we would choose a different hotel next time we visit.
In the past we have stayed at the Madeira Centro and the Melia, both of which we considered to provide a better quality of food and accommodation.

This hotel is probably the best we have ever stayed in. Everything was excellent, from the service to the cleanliness and facilities. But most impressive of all was the restaurant. We stayed for a week full board and never ate out once. Outstanding variety of soups, fish, meats, salads, vegetable dishes and desserts every lunch and dinner. Breakfast was equally impressive with champagne available for free if you were early enough! Cannot recommend this hotel enough - perfect for familie, couples and young people looking to get away from the noise of the new town

This hotel is located in the heart of Benidorm Old Town. Looks nothing remarkable from the outside but inside it's a lovely hotel and well worth the 4* rating.

The rooms are comfortable, reasonably spacious and spotlessly clean. The restaurant is self service and the standard of food is excellent. I'm a fussy eater and always found something tasty. There is entertainment every evening, nothing to get excited about but pleasant enough.

The hotel has a small roof top pool which was very cold but the jacuzzi was very nice. Plenty of space to sunbathe and free sunbeds. If you fancy a day on the beach it is literally a two minute walk away.

There are plenty of shops, restaurants, cafe bars and nightclubs in the area. If you worried about the noise from late night revellers don't ... we didn't hear a thing.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Avenida and I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

What an absolute pleasure to arrive in Spain to such a warm friendly hotel. Situated in the heart of the old town and in the midst of great shopping and right next to the beach, this hotel could not have suited better. The staff were excellent and made an effort to get to know you. The food was good, fresh and varied.

I'd say this hotel would not suit travellers looking for a lively holiday near nightclubs and bars and the customers were on the older side.

The rooftop pool and surrounding sunbed area was lovely and the hotel offers entertainment every evening (although again catering for the older market).

The most important aspect was safety and security; I would have no problem going back to this hotel on my own for a holiday.
