Our family stayed at the Villa de Benidorm hotel and we had a wonderful holiday overall. Firstly, let me get all the bad things out of the way.
First impressions of the hotel are not that great – the front looks a little neglected and dated.
The bedrooms are not great either – they are too small for a family of four and there are no balconies which makes the room feel claustrophobic. Oh, and there are NO hairdryers in any of the rooms.
So that’s the bad stuff out of the way. Now to the good bits.
The staff at this hotel were the nicest hotel staff I have ever come across – very helpful, pleasant, funny, polite and just a really nice bunch of people who work extremely hard day and night to please all us holiday makers.
The hotel was very small, but this was a benefit as it made everyone feel as though they were one big family on holiday.
The food was excellent – plenty of choice and always fresh.
The hotel was clean and pleasant, although it is not very fancy but it met all of our needs.
The location of the hotel is fantastic. You are right in the middle of things with show bars, restaurants etc right on your doorstep and you are a few minutes walk from the beach.
There is an added bonus of being able to use the facilities of the other hotels within the magic group which meant you could eat out somewhere different occasionally.
Overall this is a wee gem of a hotel – a great wee find and I would consider going back when my kids are older and we don’t need to share a room.
I had a great holiday – Well done Magic Villa de Benidorm.
