This was our holiday splurge meal which was chosen due to it being a Michelin star restaurant and reviews on TA. We pushed the boat out and chose the menu grande tasting menu at 85 euros per person, add to that pricey drinks and this really was a splurge. The meal started well and we were offered 2 'gift' courses which were both fabulous, a pea soup with frozen tzatziki and then a homemade currywurst which was a clever offering from the german chef. The rest of the courses were a mixed bag, some overseasoned and I would have generally liked a bit more invention. We didn't really like the setting, it was very quiet and we felt like we were trapped inside an old white computer! But maybe the futuristic, sterile setting is fitting with the futuristic feel of Valencia. We did enjoy our evening but we've been to better Michelin star restaurants, next time we'll try somewhere else. I'd suggest trying the 59 euro tasting menu instead of the 85 euro one as it seems to get good reviews on TA and won't hurt so much!
