We just returned from another stay at the Aminta. At the risk of sounding like a broken record since I have reviewed the Aminta a number of times before, I have to say that as always that all aspects of our visit were excellent. Since nothing in life is always the same I suppose that there is always the risk that we could be disappointed. Not so on this stay, 9/12/2012 through 9/20/2012. From the airport transfer, to the room, food, etc, every aspect was excellent. I have seen posts complaining about the new room tax that has been imposed. Get real! You will have to pay this where ever you stay and in any event it is a small amount. This was more that offset by the fact that we were not charged for the sun beds at the pool.
There seemed to be some new additions to the menu which provided ample variety for every taste.
I think one of the best things about the hotel is the quality and professionalism of the staff. We see the same faces year after year and to a person they are all friendly and eager to please guests. Bottom line is that if your are looking for a place to stay in Sorrento and you want real value for the money you spend you can't go wrong at the Aminta.
