We went to this restaurant as it was close to our hotel. The first course of pasta was ordinary but edible. We ignored the bread as it was just slices cut in half in an open basket.
The second course was where it went wrong. I ordered Scallopini al Limone and a bowl of cooked vegetables and was very surprised when it came out. 3 tiny pieces of veal (smaller than the palm of my hand) in a pool of lemon sauce and a plate of boiled spinach. I asked the waitress if I had the right order as I was sure I ordered mixed vegetables and she insisted it was correct. But it was the smell of the scallopini that stopped me in my tracks! It smelled rancid and the smell was starting to make me feel ill. My partner ate his meal (also very small) as fast as he could so we could leave. When we went to pay the waitress charged us for the bread so I asked that the charge be removed, she was unwilling to do this until the manager came over and removed it. I also told her that the meal was not fresh and inedible and I was unhappy but this charge was not removed. I would certainly never eat here again.
