I thought I read in the ad that this place had a/c, but it definitely doesn't. Only fans, one broken. Holy hell on earth in July!!! I would NOT recommend this place in summer for that reason. The bathroom wasn't very clean either. The first day our key got stuck in the lock (that obviously hadn't been maintained) and would not come out. We had to call the girl to come help and her first reaction was we were too stupid to figure out how to take a key out of a hole. (frustrating) An hour later she came and wasn't able to get it out, so eventually a maintenance man came and shot some lubricant in and voila, we were fine. The beds were pretty uncomfortable. The only good thing I can say is the place is right next to the coleseum, a metro stop and a bus stop, so conveniently located. BTW, there's a cafe near the metro stop (up a hill from it) that has great gelato, but do NOT go here if you don't want to be ripped off by watered down orange juice, a 20% mandatory service charge, and stale food. Rome is great, but some of these places really take advantage of tourists.
