Navona is a lively and colorful piazza, sorrounded by art, either by the artists that expose their work selling them for a very reasonable price (if you negotiate a bit) or of course by its main attractions: the center piece "Fontana dei Quattro Fiumi" sculpted by Bernini and the side ones "Fontana di Nettuno" and "Fontana del Moro", both sculpted by Giacomo della Porta. Not forgetting the church of "Sant'Agnese in Agone" by Borromini and the "Palazzo Pamphilj" that houses the Brazilian Embassy and was designed by Gainaldi with frescoes from Pietro de Cortona. Of course, a visit to the Piazza Navona is not complete without trying the delicious Tartufo, a wonderful frozen chocolate dessert that was invented by the "Tre Scalini" restaurant in 1946. Enjoy!!
