My husband and I stayed here from May 11-15. Overall, we really loved it. It was the cleanest hotel we stayed at in Italy (and the other ones were very clean). Everything was very updated and new. It was an elegant looking hotel too. We didn't use the bar at all, but they had one with a nice patio outside. We saw a lot of the hotel guest enjoying this. The breakfast was pretty good too. It had the cold cuts, croissants, scambled eggs, bread, cereal and coffee. The wait staff at breakfast was not as good as it had been at other hotels (no one ever came to take our drink order even though we wanted cappuccinos, but if we were desperate for them, we could have tried harder to flag them down). However, coffee and tea were easily at hand for self-service. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We even got to do an early check in. Our room was on the top floor and it had a good view. It was also very quiet (we forgot that other rooms were around us, because we couldn't hear anything outside of our room... it was great!). Like I said, the rooms were up to date and very nice. Our toilet, however, had a little bit of trouble flushing well. I'm not sure if it was a hotel-wide problem or just our room (we were lazy travelers and just dealt with it instead of actually calling someone to look at it). It was a little bit of a nuisance, but not a huge deal to us. The location was awesome! It wasn't on a busy street, so it was in a peaceful location, but it was right around the corner from the Pantheon and also really close to the Piazza Nivona, where we spent a lot of our time, but really, it was right in the heart of Italy. It was a 10 euro cab ride from the train station, and everything was easily within distance, including the colosseum and the forum. Our travel agent, Beach Bum Lisa, with Beach Bum Vacations helped use find this place and get a great rate. They have a great relationship with this hotel, so I think that is why we got such a good view and floor level. I would definitely contact her to help you book (firstname.lastname@example.org).
