We loved this hotel. If you're into the old historic part of Rome, this is definitely the place to stay. Right down the street from the Collisium. Very clean and staff were nice. Breakfast was outstanding for a European style breakfast.

My wife and I just returned from an 8 day visit to Rome with 7 nights spent in this hotel. It was an EXCELLENT choice, one based primarily on the comments from this web site. How anyone could not have good things to say about this place is a mystery to me. The location is great, close to many attractions and a few minutes walk to the Tram and the Metro which will get you almost anywhere a "tourist" would want to go in Rome. The staff were very friendly and accomodating, the place is spotless and the rooms are much better than you will find in most European cities in the price range. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice and the breakfast room was comfortable.
Highly recommended!

This hotel is in an excellent location, within walking distance of many of the major attractions which will save a fortune in taxi costs!
The staff are very friendly, knowledgable and helpful and nothing seems too much trouble. Our flight didn't leave until 8:30 pm but the hotel arranged a taxi for us and stored our bags even though check out time is midday.
The rooms aren't especially big but they are very comfortable. There is no restaurant but food is served at the bar by the very friendly barman and it was pretty good too, though with so many restaurants on your door step, why would you want to eat at the hotel anyway?
I haven't stayed in Rome before so I can't compare this hotel with others in the area but I can say that it was a very enjoyable and comfortable stay and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
I found this hotel on your site and has no regrets. Excellent location, good breakfast, large rooms with new bathrooms and furniture. 5min walk to Colisseum, close bus/subway. I'd highly recommend this hotel

ServiceMy wife and I stayed at Capo D'Africa Hotel in October 2004, for a long weekend. It was vary nice hotel in a great location. The continental breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable after the air conditioning was fixed the next day. The only complaint, we left in the evening and were in the lobby, when I realized I had forgotten my watch in the room. I went back to the room and found the maid on the bed using her phone and the bell man sitting on my pressed trousers. They apologized and left.
