OK, so Hotel Del Corso is on probably the most famous shopping street in Rome, it also is within walking distance to many of the big attractions such as the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps and Pantheon. So, location wise it is brilliant, which is very much reflected in the pricing...quite costly. The rooms are all disappointingly small and dark for the money, however the street-side rooms seem to be more light and airy. Our room lacked a few necessities such as a proper shower (hand shower only), a bathplug, no coffee making and unpredictable air conditioning. Staff were a mixed bag, with one being marvellous and helpful, the other being somewhat surly/ On a brighter note, there is a lovely rooftop garden where breakfast is served and again, the location is fantastic....we just didnt see the value.
