“Wonderful Hotel”

Boscolo Exedra

Wonderful Experience. The hotel is beautiful on the inside and outside. The staff was very attentive and helpful. The 'hotel manager' made sure we were well taken care of. We arrived early and our rooms were not yet ready. They apologized and treated us to drinks and snacks while we waited. The rooms were nice. The beds were comfortable. There were some stains on the carpet, but nothing you really paid too much attention to. Besides the stains, the rooms were kept clean. The roof top terrace was very nice with heaters. The breakfast was fine. The location was good. We had no A/C, but we kept the windows open at night. We would definitely go back and definitely recommend to others.

“Nice Honeymoon Hotel”

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon. It's a great location - just a 10 min walk with luggage from the train station and within walking distance to most major sites.

It's a gorgeous hotel and really makes you feel special. The downside is that because you're in Rome, you're rarely in your room long enough to enjoy it.

We stayed in a rather small room though - but it was quiet and secluded. Go across the circle to see the plain looking building -it's a church designed by Michaelangelo.

I'd likely not stay here again though since it is rather pricey for how little we were in the room.

Stayed for 2 nights whilst in Rome and had a lovely high ceilinged room. The place was always clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful. The rooftop bar and restaurant makes you feel like one of the priveleged few and the food was excellent also. I thoroughly recommend the Pinot Grigio on the rooftop bar - very drinkable. the location is excellent with a walk past shops down Nacional into the older town. We did not eat any other meals apart from the dinner at the hotel so could not comment on that but turn left out of the hotel and there is a great little cafe which won't cost the world. I have also stayed at the Boscolo in Venice which I prefer as it has a little more character and the bar staff were more prepared to advise.

I would stay there again and if I was forced to say something bad it would be that the place was a little lacking in soul.

“For Rome, it's worth the money”

We have just returned from a four night stay at the Exedra. We upgraded to a deluxe room following reviews on tripadvisor, and although it was expensive, I'm glad we did.

The hotel is located on the Piazza della Repubblica, and we had a great view of the fountain from our room. The Piazza has busy traffic until quite late on the week days, but the noise did not disturb us once the windows were shut. If you would rather sleep with the window open than with air conditioning, then maybe a room on the front of this hotel isn't for you because it will be noisy!

The room was huge, with high ceilings and a big bed that was firm and very comfortable. As noted by other reviewers, the carpets are a bit on the mucky side, but then, cream is not a good choice of colour for a hotel carpet! The bathroom was marble throughout, and kept spotless.

We had room service on the night of our arrival - club sandwich (20euro) and tiramisu (13 euro). The food was excellent, but pricey.

Again having read the comments on tripadvisor, we skipped the hotel breakfast and went to a cafe on the opposite side of the Piazza for pastries and espresso. This cost about 12euro for the two of us, and set us up to last to lunch. He does not open on Sundays.

Was the room worth the money? In any other city, probably not, but Rome is an expensive city for tourists and I think spending the money was justified in order to ensure a great time.

Everything perfect. Deluxe Room - understating design, clear, stylish colours and decor. Large bathrooms.
Very high minibar prices.
Tiny but beautiful lobby, friendly staff at reception.
Tazio restaurant very friendly staff, excellent but expensive food.

Perfect location for a walk in the historic centers.
