We stayed here for 4 nights in May 2010. We had a pretty good room with shared bathroom. Most staff were great except for one very rude Italian girl who was more concerned in finding her car/scooter keys than serving us so we waited and waited for sometime before we could check in. After finally checking in we couldn't find our room so I asked the Italian lady (wish I got her name) who was in a very bad mood where our room was and she yelled at me telling me to go and see someone at reception. WOW, I can speak Italian too and could of been just as rude back to her but unforunately I didn't but think I should of. No need for such rude staff, if I was the owner here I would of sacked her.
The hostel is in a great spot across road from Termini train station. We were a bit hesitant about booking in this area but we had no problems. Breakfast was a croissant and hot drink at nearby bar.
Overall not a bad hostel but watch out for that Italian girl with a terrible temper. Other staff were great and friendly. Loved Rome, its a great city but food wasn't as great as thought.
