From the entrance all the way through to the exit this place is filled with breathtaking masterpieces. Many know of the common or more renowned pieces such as Michelangelo's painting of the Sistine Chapel, but there are so much more things to be seen! 7+ Km of art from different cultures ranging from Roman to Greek to Catholicism to Egyptian to Christianity all with areas of their own with art that is in every way breath taking wonderful and marvelous. This is a site to see and honestly the guides will tell you how they are all better then others and they will let you get ahead of lines but don't listen to them. We were in line (what seemed like a very long line) for less then 15 minutes and we were through the line outside, the line for security, had paid for our tickets and were on our way to explore! All the other crowds of people and lines could not be solved by some guide (no matter what they promise you; trust me), they are just a waist of money. While exploring this marvelous place you will of course see so much that it will be hard to even take it all in, that's why you should make sure to take plenty of pictures so you can take it in little by little later if you need! To think that so much art and history can be fit into one place just astounds me and I was left in shock, awe, and breathless on many an occasion. It is a must see on a trip to Rome.
