The food was great - very fresh - they cut the herbs at one end of this wonderful outdoor restaurant we ate them at the other end. It has the most spectacular view in all of the Cinque Terra villages - looking back at Manarola. It's a must visit place even if it's just for a drink.

If you can sit here and drink in the view and not be convinced that God's in his heaven and all is well with the world, well, there's just something wrong with you. With this view as a backdrop, they could serve mediocre junk and charge three times the going rate, but thankfully that is not the case. Instead, they serve delicious little bites at a completely reasonable price, and are to be commended for it. We were here at lunch time, and all of the tables in the shade were taken. We sat in the too-bright sun, but who's complaining? Before long, the place was full, and we were happy just to have gotten a seat. My bruschetta with pesto was delish, as was my husband's focaccia. I tried a smoothie, a fruit-and-milk concoction served in a glass bottle with a straw. This was a delightful stop, and we're only sorry we only made it here once in a four-day stay.

Nessun Dorma has THE best location for fabulous views of the village, especially when the setting sun casts its colours across Manarola.
It is not a restaurant, but light & substantial snacks are available, all freshly prepared, the tomatoes, basil & other herbs are growing in the gardens around you.
You can simply chill with a book over a single drink if you just want to relax away from the crowds, you will never get the feeling that you should vacate, what is required is that you enjoy the beauty of where you are!
The young owner, (he waits on the tables), won the right to open his bar in this lovely location.... ask him his story! He also teaches the art of true pesto making in the gardens, beginning with you picking your own basil, it's very informal, partaking of wine while you learn how to make your own pesto which you eat once completed. Very enjoyable 2-3 hours on my final morning. Also, if you arrive with no accommodation, ask him....... I heard he had rooms or an apartment for rent!

Nessun Dorma is the perfect bar for any night in Cinque Terre. The location is absolutely perfect and the casual atmosphere allows you to relax, watch the sunset over Manarola, and enjoy some delicious food and drink - we LOVED their pesto bruschetta. We were only in Cinque Terre for 3 nights and ended up going back a second time (2 out of 3 nights) because it was so great. Highly recommend!

This bar has great fresh food where the young owners grow their own herbs, tomatoes and produce. The home made pesto is delicious and so is the tomato bruschetta. The food is mainly bar food but the cheese and meat tasting plate is enough for dinner and superb. There is a good range of local wine by the glass and it's the best spot in Manarola at sunset.
