This was by far, one of the most fun things I've done in Italy! Moreno was happy to host our group of 17 people and we were all eager to learn!
Moreno taught us how to make simple things. I've been to a cooking class at a different place in Italy, and they wanted to teach us "fancy" "gourmet" dishes. It wasn't successful. What I think makes Moreno's class so successful is that he teaches us how to make things we will actually be able to cook upon our return home!
He showed us how to make pasta from scratch and then let those of us who wanted, the opportunity to learn how to correctly roll in out, cut it, and prepare it. He showed us how to make a delicious ricotta filling with fresh herbs and he taught us the correct way to make tomato sauce for the pasta. At the end, we each got a certificate to show to our friends we know what we're doing!
An overall excellent day spent in his beautiful village learning things we can take home and replicate! I highly recommend this class to anyone who is curious or interested in learning the essentials of Italian cooking!
