The hotel is dated 1950's but very comfortable and clean. The room we had was spacious and we had a wonderful view, we were on the 6th floor. Breakfast was good with a good choice.
We decided to have dinner in the hotel, we had booked a restaurant in the centre of Bolzano but changed our minds due to the 2 girls on reception who recommended the fish in the hotel restaurant that comes in fresh on tuesdays, we were there tuesday night. We are glad we did as the food was wonderful, fresh and big portions. The price of the food was average including the wine.
The two girls on reception were more than helpful, friendly and informative. The location of the hotel is excellent as you can leave the car and walk everywhere.
Bolzano is a great place, interesting shops and culture if you are lucky enough to go when the theatre has something on. Definitely worth staying for a long weekend. There is also a wonderful park which is great for children and people of all ages.
