This hotel promotes itself as a four star but I would consider it to be a 2 star. The first room we had was small, terrible view and it smelled like a skunk. When I requested a new room the front desk attendant was 'put out' and when I explained that it smelled like a skunk, he suggested it might be the cleaning products they use. The second room was bigger and had a view but the shower (no tub) was small, it didn't drain very well and the door would not stay on the track and was either stuck in the open position or flapping outside the shower stall. I had to request hangers to hang our clothes, we were there for five nights for a conference - some of the staff were helpful.
I dropped some coins on the floor next to the bed and when I reached down to get them I lifted the bedskirt - I was SHOCKED and extremely unhappy with what I found: empty food wrappers, layers of dust and at
least 6 empty plastic water bottles! I complained to the housekeeping
manager and invited him to take a look - he was aghast! They cleaned a bit under the bed but didn't freshen our towels or clean the bathroom that day. I developed little red 'bumps', like spider bites,
on my torso and back the day after we left this hotel. I can only assume they were bugs from the bed! I still have small marks and it has been a month since we were there .
On the positive side, the morning buffet breakfasts were good. I would not recommend this hotel if you are expecting a 4 star experience. If you are looking for a clean room, friendly staff then I would stay elsewhere.
