Hi, me again, 2nd review on this hotel, same holiday as last year and it was better than before. The snow was thick on the ground and the skiing was brilliant. This year 11 of us went together, 6 kids and 5 adults. The children squealed with delight flying down the slopes in doughnut style rings. They raced each other and used up lots of energy! They went skiing every day and some days went for 5 hours! The ski lift is manned at the top and bottom and the instructor was fantastic with the children. For me as a non skier I sat watching them from the comfort of a deck chair with a beer in hand and the sun beating down it was heaven.
The evening is so quiet and peaceful, it is mainly centered around the evening meal which is awesome, somtimes up to 11 different dishes in one night! Then the children all retired to the TV lounge for a DVD and a chill out ( Shattered after all the excercise and fresh air), the adults went to the bar and played cards, chatted, sampled the grappa, wine and beers.
The rooms are very spacious and clean, a very high standard of cleanliness and so warm. Each room has a view to die for of the snowy dolomites in the distance and of the Passo Brocon itself which is spectacular.
The hotel is family run and each family member is so welcoming and so attentive.
We truly love this place and we thank Yvonne at Creativity Travel in Whitstable for introducing us to it and we will be back again next year, most definately.
