We reserved month and a half prior visiting.I did not like an idea of 2 seatting and time limitation. I guess it is a result of good PR done by Frommer, Rick Steves and others since the only patrons we saw were English speaking. No locals.
We had 3 dishes. One was very good - gorgonzola ravioli. Mixed seafood appetizer and mixed fish grill were just so-so. I can do so much better at home.
Bread was commercial, breadsticks were from the supermarcket package (we sat close enough to see what they put on your plate). Many side dishes were reheated in the microwave right behind the counter.
Service was polite and efficient ,but not warm. It is certainly not the place for romantic dinner, you do not even know you are in Italy. Many places in Manhattan are like that.
We did not stay for deserts,I bet they would be commercial too.
So , there are many better places. And 3 dishes plus 2 beers for 110 euro...
