Such a pretty church - red and white arches and pillars, beautiful brickwork. Very close to Castelvecchio. Very peaceful.

Perhaps the most restful place in Verona. The people responsible for it's rebuilding must be congratulated on their accomplishment. They have restored this gorgeous old building tastefully and sympathetically . The small outside gardens and surrounds are really cute and you will be reaching for your camera endlessly. Inside is also "not over the top" and you will enjoy a visit here whether you believe in this stuff or not.

This lovely small church is located quite close to the river and just up from the Castle Vecchia. It is a island of serenity with stunning architecture and dates back to the 4th century. In 1117 there was a massive earthquake which evidently destroyed a lot of the church however it has bee restored and is absolutely worth a visit.
