This isn't usually my kind of thing to visit, however this building is like no other. Very very grand internally and lots to take in. I particularly like the numerous stands at which you could like a candle for what ever you felt appropriate.

Of the churches we visited in Verona, it was the detailed artwork in this church which made it unique. They are very distinctive and wonderfully vibrant. Definitely worth a visit.

Not to be missed, or rushed - so much to see and admire. This was a history lesson in art and architecture.

Recommend you get the ticket that covers entry into four of the main churches - and be prepared to spend a couple of days to take it all in!

I advise to arrange a combined visit to four major churches of Verona. For one ticket all can be seen. I think this is appropriate because the churches are filled with masterpieces of western religious art. Among these Sant'Anastasia is the most notable one. Almost all surfaces are crowded with paintings and frescoes stretching along many centuries. A visit to Verona without this church is definitely incomplete.

Not be missed; the architecture and frescoes are absolutely wonderful. An easy walk from Piazza Erbe and close to several other worthwhile churches.
