A well modernised old hotel. Comfortable, well furnished, but not gigantic bedroom and excellent bathroom. Staff helpful and accommodating. Good breakfast.

We stayed 3 nights and found the hotel and it's location just perfect for us. Our room had been recently refurbished to a very high and tasteful standard, the city rate was reasonable, and the location...for us...perfect, i.e. close, but not too close, to the frenetic centre. The hotel is in an upmarket part of the city and has some lovely bar/cafe/restaurants close to hand if you don't want to travel too far in the evening. Breakfast was typical reather than exceptional. Can't comment on the hotel restaurant as we didn't try it.

My wife and I stayed there on our honeymoon and we found it to be faultless. The staff bent over backwards for us, they were all so friendly. Our room was big and airey and very clean. The food was marvalous. The chef even made us our own private menu on the second week. I really advise anyone who may be going to visit Palermo to stay there. It is in the heart of the city with the shops and restaurants all in walking distance. Dont believe everyone who tells you most Sicillians speak a little english, they dont. So If you like to get off the tourist track It does help if you can speak a little Italian. Look out for the side street Trattoria`s they usally dont have a menu and the waiter will tell you what they have. A wonderfull time in a fantastic hotel in a city full of charm. We shall return.

This lovely hotel is nearing its complete renovation. The public areas, especially the dining room are beautiful. The decor and fittings are luxurious. There is now a decent sized bar area alongside the dining room.
Our room on the first floor was completely renovated with a lovely bathroom.
We found the staff to be helpful and courteous.
Breakfast was quite substantial with scrambled eggs, bacon, a good variety of fruit, fresh rolls, ham, cheese, etc.
The hotel is situated slightly out of town but there is an excellent, easy to use, bus service very close by. Public transport is very cheap, not like the taxis !
