One of the best meals we had during our stay in Sicily. This was our first time at Villa Antonio even though we have been coming to Sicily for many many years with family and friends. Apart from the lovely location which is really nice overlooking the Isolabella the food was outstanding. I just love anything to do with aubergines, black olives and cheese and so chose antipasto and pasta and main course all with those ingredients. My husband loved the fresh peppered mussels and the Sicilian style amberjack fish dish which was very unusual. Will definitely be back again next year as we made friends with Signora Lina the lovely lady who runs the restaurant and the chef Gilberto who came out and explained the recipe for our pasta so we can try and make it ourselves at home
