We stayed few days in Taormina, such a great little town. What made our stay special was the staff of Villa carlotta.
We were received by the friendly Ricardo (the manager?)
and then the delightful Fabrizio gave us a tour of the hotel and filled us with valuable information about Taormina and the best palces to dine at. Brilliant!!! Thanks for your suggestions, we had the most delicious food ever.
The hotel is a small pearl, and the athmosphere is relaxing and cosy, like a family.
we will never forget Marya. Every morning she served us a princely breakfast and brithened our morning with her wonderful smile.

The perfect honeymoon to Sicily was topped off by a weeks stay at the Villa Carlotta. The relaxed atmosphere, attentive friendly service and attention to detail of this hotel was second to none. We were lucky to have had a junior suite which was most tastefully decorated, and was the one presented on the website. The only slight negative was the lack of shutters or effective black out curtains to keep out the early morning sun. Besides this it truly was a most enjoyable experience worth every penny.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon. We had a suite on the lobby level of the hotel (across from the bar) and it was gorgeous! Full living room, huge bathroom, study and then a nice bedroom with a balcony/view. The staff was amazing - everyone from the guys at the front desk to the bartender. We received excellent restaurant recommendations and overall had a wonderful time. We also took the shuttle down to the beach one day - you have to request the service about an hour before you want to go.

Taormina was one of our favorite stops in Sicily. The people, food, beach and views were excellent. We can't wait to go back!

FYI: We were in Sicily 17 - 24 September and the weather was excellent!

Just returned from spending a week with you, and I wanted to thank you so very much for looking after us so well ! The hotel is such a beautiful place, in a perfect location, and the whole team there is delightful and very helpful. Breakfast was better than anything either of us has ever seen and we loved the tower room with its almost 360 degree views! It is a shame that the pool was a little too cool! And your dinner recommendations (7 in total!!!) were 100% perfect! So in summary, thank you for everything.

Taormina is a fantastic location – recommend travelling by train and by bus.

You can take the bus from the airport for about 5 euros and stops right outside the hotel!!!!!
