We stayed for 7 nights so I would have expected better service from the staff. Only the breakfast crew took notice, which was quite nice since they were overwhelmed with tour groups 4 mornings. Our room was quite small, but nicely appointed. The bathroom was fairly large. Wi-fi was successful on the first floor and basement (but don't try it at breakfast downstairs when a tour is there because tables are scarce and they don't want you to linger. I liked the location because of the train and bus station proximities. Since Florence is all about walking, the 10 min stroll to the Duomo was fine. There is a rare food market around the corner for picnic supplies. A chinese restaurant close by seemed patronized by only Asians, but we thought the 2 meals we ate were great, albeit not Italian.
