We just returned from 3 nights at this recently renovated hotel -- our room was smallish but very clean and well appointed. By far the best place we stayed while in Europe for 3 weeks, sadly it was the first stop. This Hotel really goes the extra distance. The breakfast was also worht mentioning. The best we had for inclusive packages. Some other reviewers found the location ideal. We felt it was a bit out of the way from the center of things but not too far to walk as we did. But if you plan to go back an forth during the day then it may be a stretch. The staff was great and I'd echo the museum access. We had not been able to get into the one key museum in advance and they made it happen (for an expected premium). We had a great time in Italy and especially Florence -- This as a great stop on our trip!!!
