Our arrival started on a down note, we where told we should have booked the garage, as the website stated it was first come first served we were not pleased, the web site in question seemed to be by Thomas Cook and not the Hotel web site, so be warned. However they agreed to let us park for 1 night and a box of roses to the receptionist, who spoke perfect English, and the car stayed for all 4 nights. The Hotel is very well fitted out and in excellent condition, breakfasts where more than ample. To travel into Florence by bus cost 2 euros each, took 15 minutes with a 6 minute service, tickets were available from the reception. There are not many restaurants in this area, but the Stargazer at first appearing to be Pizzas only turned out to be an excellent eatery.Would certainly visit again, the Airport is close, the bus passes the main railway station, but remember to book the garage if going by car.
