We had confirmed reservations for three rooms, late arrival. When we arrived, they had somehow cancelled our reservations without notifying us (we had secured them with a credit card). The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. We finally got 2 rooms but part of our party had to find another room elsewhere, and in the middle of the night.
The rooms we had were cramped and stuffy and one had to climb over the bidet to reach the shower. Carpets torn and stained, stains on the walls, etc. Maintenence clearly is not important. The staff was surly, breakfast minimal.

Fantastic location but if not for that the hotel would have been very ordinary. We had a view of the Leaning Hotel which was a real bonus, some rooms don't have this luxury. But the hotel staff were quite rude and unhelpful and the breakfast was slow and limited. A row of bins outside our window didnt help either. Still I would recommend a night or so.

TINY rooms and an even tinier bathrooms. I am a small person and couldn't even stand in the bathroom.

Old and dirty.

Its only good point: its very excellent location right by the tower and the Duomo.

I stayed here for 2 nights, choosing it mainly on it's proximity to the tower and dome. The noise in the square outside was an unwelcome interruption but the main gripe I would have was with the restaurant associated with the hotel. While the service charge was included in the bill they also decided to charge more for the wine than was printed on the menu. When we pointed this out to the waiter he said "it's only €3, this is very small" - while the amount may be small the principle of honesty is large. What was most surprising was that the exact same happened to diners at 2 tables beside us. It looks like there was a policy to try this with tourists as most are only passing through Pisa and this left a very unfavouable memory of the city.
