We're just back from overnight stay at the Terminus hotel... we decided to stay here as we had a very early morning flight back home from Pisa and were arriving by train from Cinque Terre and the hotel is near both the train station and airport. The hotel is fine for an overnight stay however it's really not somewhere I would like to stay for much longer!!

Our room was okay - it was very clean but small with a plasma TV. The bed was comfortable and there was a spacious and modern shower room. However the room was very, very warm and stuffy so we had to leave the window open all night as there didnt appear to be a remote for the air con unit! The towels were extremely weird - like dish cloths!!!!

The hotel has a dated feel about it but the staff were friendly and helpful. The area is quite far from the leaning tower but there is a bus stop round the corner which takes you straight there. We left too early for breakfast so couldn't comment on that but we ate in an excellent trattoria just round the corner so you don't have to travel into the main city centre area for good food. The airport was 5 minutes away by taxi so I would recommend this hotel for folk using it as a stopover rather than a holiday.

I stayed here for 3 nights. The room was not that big, but was fine for a few nights. The room was clean and the towels were changed everyday. The breakfast had a good selection and staff were helpful. I would stay at the hotel again, but would not stay longer than a few days. Pisa doesn't have much to offer other than the leaning tower, cathedral etc. I went to Florence for the day and this was a really nice city. Next time I would stay in Florence and catch the train to Pisa to see the leaning tower. The train service is excellent and cheap.

We stayed at the Terminus & Plaza hotel for a night at the start of our holiday in Tuscany in August 2007.

We had a large family room on the top floor, the furnishings were basic, but clean, with a double bed on one side and 2 single beds on the other. Wardrobe space was limited, but as it was an overnight stop, this wasn’t a problem as we didn’t have much to unpack and we had plenty of room to store the remainder of our luggage. Being on the top floor, we also had a large terrace (on 2 sides), but this was unfurnished, so nowhere to sit.

As other reviews mention, the hotel was clean, breakfast was OK (the hotel was full so the breakfast room was very busy), just a short walk from the railway station and it is easy to walk into the centre of Pisa.

We stayed at the Terminus & Plaza for one night in march this year. It´s located about 200 m from the train station, but it is a nice 20 minutes walk to the leaning tower. The hotel was clean och cosy, but our double room was very small. Bathroom was OK and clean. The breakfast was really nice.
