We spent 6 days with Pat and Paola in the middle of a 5 week tour that was mainly made up of 2 night stays.
We were ready this relaxed family environment. We had an amazing group of guests from other countries that made the time fun, along with our hosts.

We chose to mainly do our own thing with TT as our base. For us this was a great option , we had our own hire car but we also joined in some of Pat and Paolas trips as their local knowledge and contacts were obviously producing a great result.

The trip to San Gim and the lunch at their winery is a memory we will treasure for years.

The perfect get away from 5 star hotels.

We did some cooking classes as well, and have loved entertaining our friends with these great home style meals - but that is only half the story. The entertainment preparing the meals and the fun eating them was something else.

enjoy!

Our vacation with Paolo and Pat was just about perfect. Paolo's excursions were different and exciting. Many times we were the only tourists in some of those lovely out-of-the-way places.

Our cooking lessons with Pat were great fun and most informative. Still enjoy that chocolate salami.

I especially enjoyed the first view from my bedroom in the morning, It was simply breathtaking.

a few years ago my mom and i decided to get cooking lessons at tasty tuscany. what a treat! there was supposed to be another group there at the same time but they ended up canceling so we had the place to ourselves. the rooms are quaint and simply lovely. pat and paolo were so accommodating to us. we had just finished a week of tours in france with our family and had had our fill of churches. they were so great and let us be lazy, read our books, and check out the gorgeous view from the hilltop patio. pat even made sure we got to learn some meat and chicken dishes even though she's a vegetarian. it was an unforgettable experience and i would do it again in an instant!

Pronto! What a pleasure it was to spend a delightful week at this beautiful hilltop Tuscan villa. Mornings were spent out and about with Paolo who took us to peaceful villages like Certaldo (medieval), Pisa (the Tower), Volterra (etruscan), and of course Florence (renaissance). It was a great to return back to the villa for an alfresco lunch (with wine) followed by a quiet time to hike or swim before Patrizia's cooking class, followed by a family style dinner (more wine). The grounds of the Podere are beautifully kept. Nice open lawn with colourful potted flowers. A labour of love for bohemians Patrizia and Paolo. Kudos also to Steve and Ela, the back-up team. Prago!!!

“Perfect honeymoon”

Tasty Tuscany

26 Dec 2007

We spent some days of our honeymoon with Patricia and Paolo and had a fantastic time. With all the time we spent together with them and the other guests it was really like visiting friends.
The combination with day tours and cooking lessons is a perfect way to get to know Tuscany. Also the personal and professional welcoming of the guests made the stay perfect. We want to go back!
