I just stayed at the hotel and I must say I was quite impressed with this property, both on the product and the service standpoints. The hotel has all the facilities and amenities you would expect in a 5 star hotel less the uptight aspect of it. The lobby features a wooden floor with a fire place... Wow! What a change has opposed to the classic marbled hotel lobby! I stayed in a Lake suite which boasts prime views of the Geneva Lake. Also, the SPA is a class in itself with lavish surroundings. May I recommend the Relaxing massage which is amazing. The Chinese restaurant was really great. Tip: book ahead as the place is quite popular. Philippe, the Front Office Manager, was able to secure a spot for me and my girlfriend. I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN !

We stayed in this hotel for a quick weekend break and as members of the LHW (usually the LHW hotels are of an excellent standard) - we thought the service and style of the hotel were awful. Appearance was more like a premier lodge and its right next to the airport - so there is no feeling of 'rural retreat' and there is an ugly motorway between the hotel and the lake. Location is very good for business travellers but def not for holiday-makers. The service was appalling - my husband had broken his leg a few weeks before and they didn't even help us out the canb or show us to our room - I had to carry the bags up 4 flights of stairs! The onyl good thing was the spa which was fully booked for 4 days!!! Don't go anywhere near this place opt for Park Evian instead.

Nice retreat hotel found just outside Geneva, not far enough to be inconvenient but enough to be in large relaxing grounds with a 10 mini taxi ride to centre. Great gym, indoor & outdoor pools and an amazing gym & sauna facilities.
All the restaurants are highly recommended especially the chinese Tse Fung restaurant. The steak and prawn dishes in the Le Loti restaurant are nice too!
Rooms are not massive but comfortable sizes. There is a railway track behind but very well soundproofed so hardly audible.
Staff are very helpful and friendly, sometimes arrogant and others very busy so don't expect 5* service.
Having tried the D'ANGLETERRE, FOUR SEASONS (HOTEL LES BERGUES), PRESIDENT WILSON hotels, La Reserve is certainly the most relaxing with a great bar too. As a "travelling businessman", I mostly opt for the President Wilson as it's consistently good but not amazing and you get the starwood points, when I want to treat myself and stay away from all the other business people, La Reserve is default choice!

This is a tarted-up motel, nothing more. The service is non-existent. The structure is "motel", even though the rooms are comfortable and nice. The attitude is HUGE and in your face. Easily the WORST hotel experience I have had in this category of establishment. It's pitiful and I kick myself for not checking the reviews before giving it a go. You have been warned.
