This hotel is located in front of the station.
Their breakfast starts at 6am.
Therefore it is very convenient if you have an early flight from Geneva or go on an excursion by train.
Front staffs are very polite and nice.
Rooms have been renovated recently and become better than before.

Stayed two nights at the Montbrillant and was very pleased with my choice of hotel in Geneva. It's location is ideal as it is next to the railway station, (6 mins by train to the airport), but within a 5 minute walk you are by the wonderful lake and in the centre of this very nice city.
Hotel staff were very polite and friendly, especially the reception and breakfast waiter. Breakfast was a Continental style buffet with good choice of fresh fruits, cheeses, cold meats etc.
Room was small but adequate as I was travelling alone and very clean. Will certainly be stauing again at the Montbrillant...good value for money.

hotel location fine, room quality ok, but dont expect service. Staff rude and miserable in the hotel bar and restaurant. would not return.

Montbrillant was nicely located near bus and railway stations and walking distance away from centre. One block away from bus stop to the convention centre. Room was clean but extremely small (appr. 10 sq meters). Service was good and restaurant downstairs served great pizzas.

Major drawback was missing A/C. During my stay, extreme heat wave harassed Central Europe and ceiling fan did not provided any help.

Overall, it would have been quite neutral experience without heat wave. However, my opinion is, that Montbrillant is not four star Hotel as sometimes advertised. I would give 2.5 to 3 stars.
