Really wonderful. Stayed in one of the suites which all have balconies facing the Matterhorn. Because of the hotel's location there are no buildings between you and the Matterhorn. All of the interior is beautiful and stylish, wood and glass.
The family are extremely welcoming and make you feel very much at home. This side of things is the nicest we've seen in any hotel. Pirmin rushed out to wave us goodbye when we were leaving.
There is a fantastic breakfast every morning and a few things can be made to order in the evening if you want (soup, bread and cheese etc. and cocktails etc) so that, even though there isn't full room service provided officially, in fact you never miss it at all as, when you feel like staying in, you can still get something.
Very well equiped wellness area and infinity type pool you can sit in which is warmed, jacoozied, and has nothing in front of it apart from green hillsides, wooden huts and the Matterhorn. Again, which other hotels in Zermatt can say this?

The suites have the balconies looking to the Matterhorn.
Check which floor they're on as we fe...
