Seleger Moor, located at Rifferswil in Canton Zurich, is best visited during the rhododendron and azalea season of May and June.

The extensive park is filled with the heady scent of azaleas. The swathes of rhododendrons are cleverly planted to ensure that there are a variety of differently coloured blooms and that different bushes are flowering at different times.

Effective use has been made of the mature trees to combine with the ponds, water lilies and rhododendrons in giving the different areas of the extensive park their own identities.

The handkerchief tree was in full bloom during my visit. Fortunately a signpost had been added, otherwise this beautiful sight would easily be overlooked amongst all the other magnificent scenery.

I only stumbled across this attraction by accident. Having visited, I now understand why so many visitors make the pilgrimage from Germany and Austria to visit this showcase. Seleger Moor fully justifies its international reputation.

Gorgeous, charming, fun...only spent one day, so I must go back, you know...to acquire more information!

Well what to say about Zurich, go & watch the movie - DDLJ & Bachna Ae Haseeno, most of it would be cleared.

Zurich is the best place to visit. I went there between 24rd September to 7th October. I was in Zurich for 14 days which gave me enough knowledge to write this review.

Climate: Amazing, specially in winters wherein its just 2 degrees in day & minus in nights.
People: most helpful then you will ever find.
Food: you can easily get pure veg (Indian veg) food. Also there are many Indian restaurants as well many pure veg restaurants.
Transport: Trains, Buses & Trams are available for your services across the city. Take the tourist passes which gives you free travel in entire Swiss in trains, buses, trams & boats.
Bachelors do visit 'Limmatplatz' & 'Langestrasse'.

Overall it is a city enclosed in it beauty. You will really love this place.

Very clean city with friendly people, some good museums, well linked with easy-to-use transport, a stunningly beautiful lake with snowy mountain view all around.

However, Switzerland is not a cheap country and summer Zurich is almost 2 hours far from the snowy bits of the mountains. But the train trip is in itself a discovery. Not only highly efficent and modern, the sights you will have from your train ride will fill a few pages of your travel photo album. Overall an amazing holiday experience and a top city and countryside destination!
