More like an aging hostel than a hotel, but at €115 a night for a single, this hotel didn't have hostel prices. Located besides the lively 'red light district', this hotel would be ideal if you plan to spend your time in Amsterdam in a drunken/ stoned stupor. Otherwise, why would you stay in a hotel with rooms like prison cells, where rooms were barely cleaned and even the toilet paper was cheap and nasty? The only positives were the decent, no extra cost breakfast and the closeness to the train station. Next time I'd pay a little extra for a hotel more decent.
