Crowne Plaza City centre has the perfect location in AMS. Its around 3-5 minute walk to the Centraal Station, 3 minute to Dam Square and 5-8 min walk to red light district. The staff were very couteous, although we didnt get our room until it was 2pm. We arrived around 9am but waited til 2 for the room. As a gold ambassador member, we were given vouchers and free 2 drinks in the resto even i booked for 4 pax (2 rooms). I love the lobby and the huge sitting area. One of the most beautifully decorated I have seen. Rooms were very clean and has 2 free bottle of water. Bathroom was well lighted. Overall, I love the hotel because of its location. I dont youll ever get hungry in Ams. The hotel is central and away from the crowd in the Dam area which was perfect! Trams are just located outside the hotel and cruises are just a walking distance. Breakfast was ok. Not much selction but still the bacon was cooked to almost perfection! Internet was not free although they gave us 50% for it was like 9.99eu for 24 hours which work fined with my laptop and iphone
