the hotel is very mediocre when it comes to service and facilities. Its biggest advantage is location - between central station and red light district. central station is not that close if you have lots of luggage.
front ofice needs training - we were checked in by xavier who was suprised to hear that the gold members of marriott rewards get a room upgrade. i had to explain in detail, only after that i got a club room. the room was nothing special. the size was just ok, it had a very small window with no view. but the worst part was fan of airconditioner - it was blowing right on our bed, so both of us got cold. we had to switch it off when we were sleeping, which made the room too warm.
breakfast in the club lounge was adequate, albeit the selection was very small. but the staff was generally courteous except for one older lady who looked like a policeman om watch.
talking about staff, i found most of them ok, but dont expect lots of smiles or hospitality, but at least not ignorant.
we did not try any food in the hotel, except breakfast.
internet was one of the worst i ever experinced in europe. but the entertainment systemt was very good: for just 24 euro you have access to lots of movies and music.
would stay in this hotel again - probably no. i would rather stay in radisson or swissotel.
dont take a room before you check it yourself.
