this is the most disgusting place ive ever stayed. when we first got there we were told to go downstairs to put our bags because we couldnt check in straight away. when we were downstairs i saw there was a pole in the middle of this 'nightclub' they called it.
when we came bacck to check in as we went on trips with college we saw loads of teenagers drinking, screeming at the top of their voices and drinking almost to the point where they were sick. they were so drunk! total put off straight away.
the rooms smelt, there was a constant smell of sewage coming from an air vent. we couldnt open the windows properly because there was a stupid thing stopping us from opening it wide so we had to put up with the smell of sewage. the bathroom was tiny. there was stupid lockers that we didnt even use because they were filthy. one of my friends got her fake tan stood on, it went all over everyones stuff and then the cleaner took it. when my friend compalined about her, they didnt do anything. the beds wwere hard and there were no ladders up to the top bunk so we had to climb. one of my friends had a moth under her pillow and another had like black droppings on her sheets. the lifts were disgusting.
there were uni students there who kept getting their male parts out, swinging it round trying to make us look at it! ew!! one of our tutors pressed for the lift and it eventually opened she was shocked to see one of them with no clothes on. she took the stairs. we ended up arguing about the amount of noise there was, one room with a group of girls in complained and got a bag of poo put on their door handle! charming.
there was a man with children across from us, how the hell they put up with the noise i have no idea! never would i stay in a budget hotel again! i tried to have fun but im not used to the lack of service and cleanliness!
the pole downstairs everyone was swinging on. lovely. the drins are quite dear, downstairs for a bottle o wine it was like 14 euro, upstairs it was like 5 euros. ok it was a budget hotel but there was no cleanliness at all.
the floors were sticky, probably with the amount of alcohol everyone spills all over with them being drunk. the breakfast was disgraceful! 1 piece of ham and 1 piece of cheese without any bread! what the actual hell is that about! when we went to the counter we thought that we could get bacon and sausage, no! the woman shouted at us to go round the corner for our breakfast!
the hotel sign wasnt working so it spelt out the word HEL, this is exactly what it was!! we stayed i think it was 5 days, i think we had like 2 days sleep in that 5 days! it was ridiculous! DO NOT STAY IN THIS BUDGET HOTEL! YOU CAN GET SOMEWHERE NICER AND MORE DECENT FOR THE SAME PRICE!
