I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights because of it's proximity to the train station (6am to Paris), and an excellent deal on hotel.com of only $82 (U.S. dollars) for a double. I found the room good (quite large with table and chairs), had no problem with noise, and the location good. It is nothing special, just convenient. It is not worth more than what I paid, but a good deal for that amount.

After seeing only good reviews for this hotel (I notice there are some bad ones now) I booked this hotel for a long weekend in late April.

Our room was huge with a separate bedroom and living area plus a toilet and separate two sink bathroom. Considering the price we paid €75-80 per night this was excellent. The decor is a little dated, but what do you expect for that price!

It is centrally located between the train and the city centre shopping area. It is perfectly located if you are looking for diamonds! Also it is near a supermarket, cinema, gym and numerous restaurants and cafes.

On the Saturday and Sunday we were allocated a 45 minute time slot for breakfast, this was not a problem for us. On the Sunday we decided to sleep it out and miss breakfast, but this was not a big deal. If you are a sleep in kind of person you will miss breakfast in most hotels as they tend to finish early anyway!

The staff were excellent. We certainly asked more questions that we usually would and they were helpful on every occasion.

I would definately stay there again and would have not hesitation in recommending this hotel.

Spent a three night Eurostar break in this hotel including bank holiday Monday. Ideal location near to Central railway station and shops. Room, although clean and spacious, had dirty outside windows overlooking rather dingy street. Allocation of a 45 min. slot for breakfast worked okay for us as we got up in time, but could be a problem if deciding on a last minute lie-in one morning. Although we didn't check in until after 5pm on first day, we were told we couldn't have the room originally booked for us...don't know if alternative was better or worse! Bed comfortable but some noise early morning woke us (machinery in hotel?) Beware of the pay-to-view TV system. We were flicking through channels on remote control and must have pressed a pay to view button by mistake which resulted in a 13 euro charge at check out. When we explained it was an error and we certainly hadn't watched an in-house movie, the receptionist would not cancel the charge and said there was no manager in the hotel for us to speak to about it. She said if we didn't pay she would have to pay the charge so we felt obliged to pay. It was a shame as for the sake of a small charge, this soured the visit and the hotel gets no vote from us for dealing with customer complaints!

We booked our room last minute for Easter weekend and payed EUR 110 for a twin room. The location is ok, just inbetween the Antwerp Central station and the city centre. Our non-smoking room was spacious, but outdated and worn out. The room was dusty and smelly and the carpet was full of spots. We felt the need to sleep with open windows in order to fight the dusty atmosphere and get enough oxygen. The room was located on the front side and therefore quite noisy. On the other side the bathroom was ok.
We didn't have breakfast. Because of the small breakfast room, as we read about on this site, each room has to pick its own timeslot. You have to have your breakfast within the timeslot you picked, otherwise you will miss it (as we did). You would not expect such a youth hostel system in a 3-star hotel. We would not stay here again since there are definitely better alternatives.
