The Alfa Sablon was a charming hotel. Nothing really too fancy. Don't expect the Inter-Cotinental or Ritz Carlton. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. An good continental breakfast is served downstairs.. I can't remember if you have the option to order hot food for breakfast. There is really no need for the hotel to serve lunch or dinner, as Brussels has enough cafes and restaurants to choose from. Tha Alfa Sablon sits in off in the corner, however, it is a short 10 minutes or less walk to the Grand Square (Grote Market). It is nice that the hotel is not right on top of the Grand Square, as it gives the person an opportunity to walk several different routes down to the square and see more of the city.
