I have just stayed in this hotel for one night.
Absolutely huge rooms, nearly twice as big as a normal hotel room. Modern decoration, furnitures brand new, minibar, everything you will need in a room. And we only payed 85 euro for all of this(the double room, booked via booking.com)
Breakfast is brilliant too, love the cheese and ham they serve. Just a little bit understaffed during morning, so requests might not be responded too very promptly,
Overall, an amazing hotel...the size of the room will shock you..plus the room i stayed in has a toilet size as big as the room size..

Nice modern room, confortable, large, warm. Good central location (10 min walk from Grand Place and Gare du Midi). Confortable and nice bathroom, however I didn't get hot water in bath at 6:30 am.
Better ask for a room far from reception to avoid noises throught the night.
Good breakfast.
I read some negative reviews about rough neighbourhood but I don't agree, train stations areas aren't normally fancy but we never felt unsafe or unconfortable.

We arrived a little early at the Floris Avenue but the helpful receptionist was happy to look after our luggage whilst we went into the centre of Brussels. When we got back we were checked in by professional staff and were given a huge room which was well furnished, clean and light. The room had a large bathroom and was very comfortable.
The hotel is close to midi/zuid station and to the centre of Brussels. It also very close to the Annessens pre-metro station which connects to large parts of the transport network.
The only slight negative was that the staff looking after breakfast, whilst polite, were slow to replenish things like bread, cereal etc and to clear tables. The standard of breakfast also seemed to vary between week days and weekends with the former being better, perhaps indicating that the hotel is more geared up to business guests.
Overall, we had a very comfortable stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

As a early christmas treat my husband and I decided to take his parents to Brussels to enjoy the Christmas markets and the festive atmosphere Brussels has to offer at this time of year. We arrived at 10am and were welcomed with the arrangement of storing our bags and coming back at 3pm to check in. After a busy day we arrived back only to be told that the hotel was over booked and we were now to be placed in a sister hotel. (This seems to be fairly common as other reviews have had the same experience). When asked where this hotel was we were told it was in the north of the city but still only a 10 minute walk to the centre of Brussels. We were taken by taxi to a very run down hotel and on arrival we were told that we were in the south of the Brussels area and a 25-35 minute walk to the city centre. When we were given our rooms and on entry it was clear that the room was already occupied. We were given another room, yet this one had no electricity. A third room was now given and again this had no elecitricty (We were now comparing the hotel to Faulty Towers!). After this we were not happy to stay and after much demanding and stress we were sent by another taxi to yet another hotel. We were sent to the Thon Hotel and were told that the they had no paperwork from the Floris Hotel and were fully booked. We delt with a very professional member of staff who was appalled by our treatment from the Floris and by magic 2 rooms were found. Our stay at the Thon hotel was excellent. I would never arrange any accommodation with the Floris and would advise anyone thinking about staying at this hotel to think again. Our experience with them was poor, unprofessional and very disappointing. This hotel seems to be highly ranked by trip advisor which is why we selected it. Ignore this ranking and stay away from this hotel!!!
