First things first, this is a very clean hotel and the staff was very nice and courteous... but that's about where the positive attributes end. As a huge fan of TripAdvisor, as well as boutique hotels and B&B's, this hotel was a major disappointment. It was more like a suped-up hostel than a hotel or B&B. The rooms were dire, with sad miniature tv's, and depressing decor that couldn't have possibly been updated since the hotel was opened. I could hear people milling about outside the door and the plumbing made for a relatively noisy room when rooms nearby (apparently) flushed the toilet. The breakfast was just ok, satisfactory bordering on boring and insufficient... basically, not anything special. It certainly wasn't a horrible experience, but I find it hard to believe that this is the 5th best hotel in all of Brugge (it's TripAdvisor at the time of this review!!!). If you want a basic room with adequate service, this is for you. If you want something a little more special, look elsewhere.
