Stay here the middle of April 2012 and could not have been more pleased with the onsite owners and the location of the hotel. I stayed Fri-Sunday and must admit that avoiding a spring through summer weekend in Brugge is wise due to the size of the crowds that pack the streets and museums. Other than that minor issue, the stay was wonderful.
Positives included friendly and very helpful onsite owners, very clean rooms, decent breakfast, excellent location near the major museums and cathedral and many wonderful restaurants. Mass Saturday at 5:30pm (beautiful cathedral that offered a very good mass) right down the street and the wonderful running trail around the old city provided a solid 50 minute run with excellent sights.
Minor negatives included a busy street which was a bit noisy but a good set of ear plugs takes care of that and internet wasn't working in the rooms but did in the breakfast area. This is supposed to be corrected very soon.
The owners did an excellent job suggesting the museum pass that saved significant money and provided a solid return on investment and had a very good car service pick me up at BRU for 73euro which was a great way to avoid the lines to get train tickets and carting my luggage up and down the train steps.
