We wanted an early Spring break just to remind us that the sun is still indeed warm. I read the reviews and really encountered what I expected. The price we paid was pretty low and for that I thought the standards were ok.

The apartments were spacious and clean and we got maid service 3 times during the week. The decor was a bit slapdash, whoever painted over the cupboard doors needs to retake their training but did not detract from the enjoyment. The worse problem was the leaking pipes from the bath and the fact that the waste water system did not seem able to cope with any sort of volume of water and came out of, what seemed to be vents in the bathroom. This was only bath water, it wasn't from the toilet! Reporting it didn't produce anything other than a clean up and other guests we spoke to seemed to have a similar problem but it was more inconvenient than anything else.

Other than that we had no problems, even with sunbeds but then it was mid March and I can see how the number of beds might cause problems in the busy season.

All the staff we met were courteous and helpful, although the width of the smile did vary among individuals, especially on reception.

The hotel is right next to bars and restaurants with a range to suit both appetites and pockets bu the shortest walk ot the beach was about 10 mins and a rather steep hill to walk back up.

Overall, I felt it was good value for money and if I was looking for budget accommodation again, wouldn't hesitate - as opposed to my avoiding again using Thomas Cook's airline, obviously targetted at people under 5 feet tall or with unnaturally short legs.

We went to this hotel for a golf trip. The hotel is ok, but I wouldn't recommend staying there if you want entertainment. It is quite central, but the main night life is about 2-3 miles away. The room I stayed in was quite a walk from the reception, but was clean and basic.
The staff were not very helpful. We had no help to find our room or information about any facilities. Also I strongly recommend a safe for your valuables.

Me and my partner stayed at the Santa Eulalia Beach club in Feb half term, we were very impressed by the cleanliness of these apartments, rooms were cleaned daily and towels changed every other day.
The outside could do with a lick of paint but the apartments themselves were absolutely fine. Rooms were spacious with brand new furniture.

Good location, near to the beach and supermarkets.

Cheap buses (bus stop outside tourist information (here you can collect a bus timetable)).

Ok, During my time as a rep in portugal, I reped the santa eulalia.
Its a hotel just off the main town area, dubbed family freindly and sold as a cheap and cheerful holiday.
First off, the looks. The hotel appears dirty and dated, but I suppose you get what you pay for.
The pool is adiquatly sized, but not enough sunbeds for the size of the hotel.
There is a kids club on site, and most activities are free so theres time for the adults to relax too.
Rooms are a good size. There is no sea view (whatever the brochures may say) and some rooms do look over a car park/bins. Oh and despite the title, the hotel is at least 10 minutes away from any beach!
At night, there can be a little rowdiness as there is always entertainment at the bar, but at midnight the bar closes no matter how many people are in it, so be warned.
The reception staff can be a little abrasive but the bar staff are nice as pie.
Overall a good hotel and appeals to those who want a cheap getaway
